Copyright, Fair Use, and Emergency Remote Teaching:

Despite the circumstances, there is not a copyright free-for-all. However, the extenuating circumstances do permit making more charitable fair-use evaluations than would be permitted under normal conditions. It is still expected that you will do a fair-use evaluation in good faith and not use/share more material than is required to fulfill the need. Any scanned materials must be shared only via Canvas (our LMS) and students should be warned that the material is for their individual research/scholarship only.
